The creation of the Lazy Day Collection is a complex process. The wooden structure is built with several interior layers of MDF and aluminum for added strength. Underneath the upholstery, a sub-structure ensures the fabric fits perfectly. The feet are made of steel, either painted gold or brushed stainless steel. The wooden structure is veneered with exquisite wood leaves, finished either in satin (for the Modern version) or high-gloss (for the Classic version).

Despite the intricate construction method, the Lazy Day Collection maintains a sleek and modern aesthetic. The sofas and armchairs are perfect for contemporary living rooms, either as a set or individually. The collection was first sketched in 2014, but the prototype was only made in 2020. Following its launch in November 2020, the collection was featured in Interior Design Magazine as a "statement seat".

The Lazy Day Collection is the result of years of research and design maturation. The biggest challenge was creating an original design in a field with thousands of options. The design had to be sophisticated and edgy at the same time. Once the final design form was achieved, Faria developed a construction method that guarantees the sofa's sturdiness, especially for the three-seat size. The upholstery also posed a challenge due to the sleek lines requiring immaculate stitching. These issues have since been resolved, and the collection has been a success.
